Adam stars in the acclaimed documentary "Take His Legs", which chronicles the inspiring journey of the Warrington Wolves Physical Disability Rugby League team. The film follows Adam and his teammates as they gear up for a monumental match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Australia’s iconic ANZ Stadium.
His solo shows are a staple at the Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival, and Edinburgh Fringe, where he consistently sells over 10,000 tickets each season. Adam is the only Australian comedian to perform at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and is a regular at the Cat Laughs Kilkenny Comedy Festival in Ireland and the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal.
Adam’s shows from 2001, 2002, and 2003 were all nominated for the prestigious Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Festival. His 2002 show, "Happy Feet", won the inaugural Best Of The Fest Award in Edinburgh, while his follow-up, "Cut Loose", received the Radio Forth Award for Best Comedy. He has also won a Chortle Award for Best Compere in the UK, and his 2007 show, "Joymonger", earned a Helpmann Award for Best Comedy Performance in Australia.
In Australia, Adam is also famed for hosting the hit music quiz show "Spicks and Specks" on ABC-TV, alongside team captains Alan Brough and Myf Warhurst. The show, with over 1.2 million weekly viewers, has garnered numerous AFI and Logie Award nominations. Adam himself has been nominated for four Logie Awards, including the prestigious Gold Logie, and was named TV Personality of the Year by GQ Magazine in 2007.
Adam, Alan, and Myf also took the "Spicks and Speck-tacular" stage show on a live tour of Australia, performing to over 75,000 fans and featuring on the cover of "Rolling Stone" magazine. In 2008, Adam achieved another career milestone by hosting the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Paralympic Games, broadcast across Australia, South Africa, and Hong Kong.
Adam’s UK TV appearances include "Mock The Week", "The Charlotte Church Show", and "Never Mind The Buzzcocks", along with his own half-hour special on The Paramount Comedy Channel. He hosted two series of "Four At The Store" for BBC Radio 4 and co-presented "We Say Tomay-to" on Radio 2.
Additionally, Adam has written articles for "Subaru Magazine", "Inside Cricket", and was a regular contributor to BBC’s "Ouch!" website. He has performed on stage in "Die On Your Feet" at the 2005 Melbourne Comedy Festival and starred as Breaker Morant at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2007.
