Previously the Executive Director of George P Johnson and Editor in Chief at LIVE Communication Magazine, Kevin has established his place as is a thought leader with a huge catalogue of success behind him. Voted the most influential person in the UK event industry on three separate occassions, Kevin has a rare understanding of every conceivable touchpoint between a brand and its most valuable audiences. His passion and enthusiasm for driving engagement, participation and action, means that his work focuses on delivering memorable, meaningful brand experiences.
His highly influential and widely read blog ‘Depth Perception’, has led Kevin to receive a number of high profile speaking engagements all over the world. Bringing his idiosyncratic, humorous and always well-informed perspective to light, Kevin’s speeches offer a compelling insight into just how quickly the world is changing, as well as plenty of advice on how to stay one step ahead.
Kevin has a strong career history under his belt, having worked for many other marketing, advertising and branding companies including KLP Group, HP:ICM (Part of the Saatchi Group) and The Convergence Group where he worked with Will King in developing the King of Shaves brand.
In 2000 Kevin was recruited to work for Joshua, a leading integrated communications agency which is part of the Grey Group. Whilst there he was involved in winning the business of Coca-Cola, Bird's Eye and Visa and many established offices throughout the world. In 2003 Kevin set up the consultancy company '100th Monkey' specializing in developing consultancy developing communication innovation and launch strategies and ran the successful brand re-launch for Dunhill.
Having worked across all disciplines in the marketing and communications field, Kevin has worked on some of the most memorable campaigns for both business and consumer audiences, some of the brands he has worked with include: Budweiser, British Airways, Coors, McDonalds and Coca-Cola.
