Founder of PROPER snacks, the maker of internationally recognised brands Propercorn and Propercrisps, Cassandra Stavrou MBE is a hugely successful entrepreneur and expert in creativity and sustainability, as a leader of Europe's largest independent healthy snack company.

Cassandra Stavrou is the founder of PROPER Snacks, the maker of PROPERCORN and PROPERCHIPS.

Launched in 2011, she built the business into Europe's largest independent healthier snacking company, and currently sits on the UK government's food & drink sector council. She was awarded an MBE in 202 for her services to the food industry.

Cassandra is not only regarded as spearheading the healthy snacking boom in the UK, but PROPER’s products are also now in over 20 countries around the globe, and are listed in every major retailer. It was one of the first food brands to recognise the true value of community and culture, developing a muchenvied 'cult-like' audience along the way.

It also became the first ever B Corp snacks company.

Cassandra recently sold PROPER Snacks as part of a major deal to form one of Europe’s largest healthy snacking companies, WARP Snacks – creating a new challenger to the established market giants, with over £100m in sales. She navigated and completed the deal during the height of the UK’s unceremonious departure from the EU, a little thing called COVID-19... Oh, and not to mention all while pregnant. She remains both operational and on the board of WARP Snacks.

She is also an active angel investor and advisor, backing the next generation of impact businesses.
