With an illustrious sporting career under his belt already, Jason excelled himself when he was selected for the Olympic squad in 2008, and at just 20, managed to achieve Olympic victory.
He continued to bask in this success as he gained a Gold medal in 2012 London Olympics and a Gold in the Rio 2016 men’s team sprint.
Jason’s quick ascent into cycling success proves his determination, rigorous training routine and resilience were the key components to his Olympic success.
Having been to the last four Olympic Games and winning his seventh gold in Tokyo, Jason is now the most decorated British Olympian of all time (having surpassed his tied place with Chris hoy), who has also become a triple world champion.
Jason is also one half of 'Britain's Golden Couple' (his wife is Laura Kenny) and coaches at the Paris 2024 Olympic games.
