Dubbed the first celebrity chef of the UK restaurant scene, Marco Pierre White is the godfather of modern cooking. Being the youngest chef at the time to receive three Michelin stars, Marco has trained influential and highly skilled chefs throughout his career, including Curtis Stone and Gordon Ramsay.

Marco has had a diverse and extensive career, training at some of the most prestigious restaurants in the nation. A fabulous celebrity chef, Marco is a formidable presence in a kitchen, leading to memorable roles in some of the highest rated culinary television shows in the world.

Beginning his training at La Gavroche alongside Albert and Michel Roux, Marco went onto train at La Tante Claie, Le Manoir and Chez Nico. Opening Harvey’s in Wandsworth Common in 1987, Marco almost immediately won his first Michelin Star, with his second following shortly after a year later. At the age of 33, Marco became the first British Chef to be awarded three Michelin stars at The Restaurant, Marco Pierre White inside the former Hyde Park Hotel.

Marco’s ability to create world leading cuisine has heightened his status as a celebrity chef exponentially, making him a highly desirable personality for cooking demonstrations and exhibitions across the world.

White’s ability on reputation as a perfectionist led to him taking on the role as leader of the kitchen in ITV’s Hell’s Kitchen, taking over from the previous incumbent Gordon Ramsay. Marco released a book to accompany the series, named Marco Pierre White in Hell’s Kitchen.
