Harvard trained economist Sebastián Piñera was President of Chile.  He is recognised as introducing credit cards to Chile and stimulating the economy. Becoming globally recognised during 2010 when 33 Chilean miners were rescued over the course of over two months, he appeared regularly at the rescue site.
