Jonathon Porritt is a distinguished writer and advocate for sustainable development, with a 30-year track record of providing strategic guidance to leading companies globally on environmental and climate issues. He has spearheaded numerous dialogues and advisory panels, tackling complex sustainability challenges such as palm oil production, aviation, and Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS).

Jonathon is deeply committed to intergenerational justice, supporting youth initiatives in sustainability as they navigate the pressing Climate and Biodiversity Emergencies. He holds presidential roles at The Conservation Volunteers and Population Matters, and collaborates with various other NGOs.

He co-founded the international charity Forum for the Future and the Prince of Wales’s Business and Sustainability Programme. His political and environmental leadership includes roles such as Co-Chair of the Green Party, Director of Friends of the Earth, and Trustee of WWF-UK. His accolades include a CBE for services to environmental protection and Ethical Corporation’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
