Deborah Meaden, a business leader and "Dragons' Den" investor, is a passionate advocate for ethical practices and environmental conservation, and author of the bestselling children's book "Why Money Matters".
Deborah Meaden is a prominent business leader and author, renowned for her role as an investor on "Dragons’ Den", which she joined in 2006.
She champions ethical and fair practices in both business and life, believing that caring for the environment and wildlife is crucial for our future security and wellbeing. Actively involved with a select group of environmental charities, Deborah is a Fellow of the WWF, a trustee of Tusk Trust, and an ambassador for the Marine Conservation Society, World Horse Welfare, and the RSPB, among others. She is also recognised as a CIWF Compassion Visionary.
In early 2022, Deborah co-hosted the first series of "The Big Green Money Show" with Felicity Hannah, exploring the impact of companies on the planet and discussing whether sustainability is an opportunity or an inconvenience.
Her book, "Why Money Matters", published in July 2023, is an accessible guide to the world of money for 6 to 9-year-olds and quickly became a bestseller.
