A trenchant critic of modern economic thinking, Graeme shares his challenging insights in a wide range of international newspapers, journals and magazines, as well as several of his own highly-acclaimed books.

Nominated for the FT's Best Book about Business Award, ‘The End of Progress: How Modern Economics Has Failed Us’ (2011) deals with the aftermath of the financial crisis, overpopulation, resource depletion and the emergence of China as a global power.

Co-written with Jorgen Randers, ‘Reinventing Prosperity, Managing Economic Growth to Reduce Unemployment, Inequality and Climate Change’ (2016) is set for publication in both English and German.

Graeme also co-authored ‘Time for a Model Change’, Cambridge University Press' Feature Book of the Year 2004, and ‘Driving Over a Cliff’ (1995), again nominated for the FT's Best Book about Business Award.

Until 2007, he was a Regional Director with the Economist Group in Hong Kong and a contributor to The Economist.  Previously, he had worked for strategy consultants Booz Allen Hamilton, in banking with Citigroup and American Express, and as a Visiting Professor at Cass Business School in London (1988-2002).

He is a frequent host on CNBC’s Squawk Box and Capital Connection, as well as a regular guest on BBC and CNN news programmes.
