Star of the global Netflix phenomenon Baby Reindeer, Richard Gadd is an award-winning writer, actor and comedian who’s passionate about mental health and sexual abuse awareness.

Award-winning writer, actor and comedian, most recently known as the front-man for the number one most-watched Netflix show globally, Baby Reindeer, Richard Gadd has reached critical acclaim.

His fantastic, yet incredibly vulnerable and raw account of Richard’s life in his Netflix show has garnered global attention, showcasing extremely personal experiences which have fed into his passion for mental health and sexual abuse awareness. Richard brings an extraordinary unique approach to the comedy scene.

Winner of the prestigious Best Comedy Show at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe with his hit show Monkey See, Monkey Do, of which the show was also nominated for a Total Theatre Award for Innovation later that year, Richard’s led an incredibly successful comedic career. He’s also won a Chortle Comedian’s Comedian Award and was nominated for an Off West End Theatre Award for Best Performer!

Not just a successful comedian, Richard has also led a brilliant writing and acting career. He’s starred opposite Daniel Mays in the BAFTA-nominated BBC2 single drama Against The Law, written for the globally loved Netflix smash hit Sex Education, along with Ultimate Worrier for Dave and The Last Leg for Channel 4 – of which he is also one of their correspondents.

An original talent, Richard is in a position to perform a comedy set, or speak at charity events, Richard is a diverse comic also able to explore serious issues with great candour. Advocating that talking is the best remedy for personal traumas, Richard can share his struggle with mental health, sexual abuse and anxiety, proving some hope and inspiration for others in a similar place.
