The Value of Books at Events

There is something joyous in curling up by the fire, glass of red in hand, and reading a good book. It’s something we all love to do. If you’ve had the opportunity to come past the office, or watched our In Conversation with Nick series, maybe even seen a pic on our Instagram, then you would have seen our floor to ceiling book shelf brimming with titles from the artists we work have the pleasure of working with.

Keeping your events message in the audience’s mind after it’s all over is of course a super benefit of an external speaker up on stage sharing their story entwinned with your overall objective. But, if you want to add that extra bit of magic, a touch of flare, then why not give away a copy of the speaker’s book. Who knows, the speaker may even do a guest signing for your attendees.

There’s lots of interesting and clever uses with books too. To act as an ice-breaker as attendees arrive, hand out a copy to read and discuss over canapés. Place a hidden copy in a goodie bag for everyone to enjoy once they get home. Or even distribute copies as you network because who doesn’t love a gift!
