Speakers Corner at International Confex 2017: What's happening?

Speakers Corner is kicking off March 2017 with International Confex!

Our team is no stranger to this leading event for organisers of both national and international events, which, this year, is taking place on 1-2 March at Olympia London.

Ready to meet the gathered event and venue organisers at Stand F42C (complete with Lindt balls), we look forward to catching up with our clients and putting faces to some familiar and valued names. If you're attending on either Wednesday or Thursday, make sure to swing by our stand to say hello.

In addition to sharing our team's ever-flowing supply of chocolate, here’s what’s on the agenda:

Wednesday 1st March

To add to the excitement of Day 1 of Confex, our MD Nick Gold, also the current convention co-chair of the IASB, will be contributing to a panel session about ‘Brexit: A Golden Opportunity or A Road to Ruin?’ at 10:50am in the Keynote Theatre. So make sure to check out some interesting ideas around this hot topic while sipping your morning coffee.

Shortly after, from 12:30pm to 1:10pm, Alex Polizzi  will be speaking on ‘Under-Promising, Over-Delivering And Why Honesty Is Always The Best Policy’, also in the Keynote Theatre. From a long line of hoteliers, Alex is known for hosting the highly-acclaimed TV show ‘The Hotel Inspector'. Her confident style and impassable success combine to make her an excellent awards host  or keynote speaker  on business and management, customer service and retail - so be sure to head to her session!

Thursday 2nd March

Over in the Office Show, also taking place at Olympia, at 11am, Dr Linda Papadopolous , one of the UK’s most well-known and respected psychologists, will be giving her keynote: 'Achieving Leadership and Success in the Corporate World' to leave audiences empowered and inspired to reach their goals. Passionate, motivating and entertaining, she'll be sharing cutting-edge thought leadership and anecdotes on the psychological tools for success in the business world. Linda will then be joining us on our stand, F42C to sign a limited number of copies of her book Unfollow: Living Life on Your Own Terms, so come by, say hello, and meet the wonderful Dr Linda Papadopolous.
