8 TV Personalities With Stories To Tell
Wednesday 21st November marks World Television Day, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returned to our screens this weekend, and rumours about Christmas TV Specials have already started to emerge. The dropping temperatures and warnings of a cold winter means we might be about to spend more and more time curled up on the sofa in front of our screens, so what better time to share some of our TV personalities with you? More than just hosts, this list of TV faces have interesting stories to tell and love the opportunity to share them with you.
Claudia Winkleman
A firm favourite! It is no surprise that Claudia is award-winning and BAFTA-nominated. From Strictly and Sky's coverage of the Oscar's, to Red Nose Day and Comic Relief, there is no gig too big for Claudia! She shares her stories from the glitz and the glamour, whilst retaining the dry wit and charm she is so loved for.
Nik Gowing
You will recognise Nik’s face from BBC World News where he has been a main fixture since 1996. Such a career means Nik has been close to the main news stories of the past thirty years, and is keen to share everything he has learnt.
Clare Balding
Instantly recognisable, and truly the face of sport, Clare is more than just a presenter. She is brimming with anecdotes from her jockey days and has the inside scoop on a wealth of Olympic moments.
Christian Howes
Not your average presenter! Christian got his big break when his observations of the social media habits of people watching reality TV earnt him a spot on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side. Consistently fascinating, Christian is a face on The Hub, This Morning and BBC Sport, sharing his expertise to help big companies expose data and improve performance.
Laura Kuenssberg
You will probably remember Laura’s face from Newsnight, 5 Live, The Politics Show on BBC 2…the list goes on! As the BBC’s Political Editor and previous business editor for ITV, Laura’s repertoire is about as extended as it gets. As you can imagine, she has a huge catalogue of stories to tell.
Jeremy Vine
The beloved voice of Radio 2! In addition to his extremely popular Jeremy Vine Show, he is also a presenter of BBC1’s Points of View and BBC2’s Eggheads. Jeremy is enthusiastic to share stories from his thirty-year career (and counting).
Brian Cox
One of the biggest brains in TV, presenting is just the tip of the iceberg for Brian. As well as being the face of BBC’s Horizon, Einstein’s Shadow and Wonders of the Solar System, Brian is a Royal Society University Research Fellow based in the Particle Physics group at the University of Manchester. You won’t want him to stop talking…
Emily Maitlis
A staple on our screens, Emily is known her presenting Newsnight and being a BBC News Channel anchor. At her best when producing extensive Election coverage, Emily is a passionate storyteller. Having interviewed the likes of Bill Clinton and David Beckham, we wouldn’t pass on a chance to hear her stories!
