Blue Peter Presenter Helen Skelton Tackles Sport Relief

Motivational speaker and Blue Peter action girl Helen Skelton takes on the thrilling challenge of Sport Relief with The Polar Challenge.

The challenge sees her tackling the icy and treacherous 500 mile Antarctica terrain to reach the South Pole. Helen will attempt to achieve a Guinness World Record in the process, by becoming the first person to reach the Pole by bike.

Helen Skelton joined the Blue Peter team in the summer of 2008, as the 33rd presenter of the long running show. During this time Helen has achieved some remarkable feats, and has made a name for herself as the team’s all action girl. Her experiences and determination make her the ideal motivational and after-dinner speaker.
