Michael McIntyre

A household name, globally renowned, Michael McIntyre is one of the best comedians in the business. Regularly touring the world, appearing on comedy panels, presenting  shows and hosting events at The Apollo, Michael is one of the country's most sought after comedians. Winning countless awards and being a BAFTA nominated host, Michael is a hit on the corporate circuit. Leaving audiences in stitches, the stand-up will not disappoint.

Confident as he is quick-witted, Mcintyre is a boyish, likeable chap who improvises as effortlessly as Eddie Izzard and Ross Noble.

Michael McIntyre is a phenomenal comedian and awards host. Ideally suited to the corporate scene, Michael's observational humour has made him one of the most sought after comedians in the UK today.

In 2007, Michael McIntyre was hailed as the "the most gifted young comedian around" by the Evening Standard and since then, his profile has rocketed. In his smart suit and electrified floppy hair-do this sublime stand-up is not necessarily what you might expect as the archetypal stand-up comedian. Michael's first DVD sold out in record breaking time.

In 2008, Michael was nominated at the British Comedy Awards for Best Live Stand-up and was nominated at the 2009 The South Bank Show Awards for Best Comedy. In 2008 he was the fastest selling comedian at the Edinburgh Festival and sold out five nights at London's 3600 capacity Hammersmith Apollo.

Michael does classic observational comedy of social embarrassment better than anyone, whether it is exploring the protocol of kissing, dissecting the etiquette of exchanging phone numbers or revealing what happens when two limp handshakes collide.  He turns everyday encounters into masterclasses of anthropological exasperation.

Michael has the unique knack of taking subjects that comedians through the years have riffed on numerous times before and gives the audience a fresh perspective on his chosen soliloquy.

He has appeared on numerous chat and panel shows including 'Have I Got News For You', 'Mock The Week' and the Royal Variety Performance. Michael has also hosted the BAFTA nominated show 'Live At The Apollo'.

In 2009, Michael hosted a Saturday night show on BBC One, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow where he showcased some of the UK's up and coming comedians.

Michael released his follow-up DVD Hello Wembley! in 2009, and in the same year appeared on The One Show, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, and Alan Carr: Chatty Man to name but a few. He hosted The royal Variety Performance and was a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, he took part in Channel 4's Comedy Gala and his own Comedy Roadshow is watched and loved by millions of viewers.

Touring the world with his brilliant stand-up, Michael is ideal for hosting awards or as a corporate entertainer.
