Louise Minchin is a renowned broadcaster and journalist, best known for presenting "BBC Breakfast" for 20 years, the UK’s most-watched morning programme. Her career began after earning a degree in Spanish from St Andrew’s University and training as a radio journalist at The London College of Printing. She started out in the Latin American section of the BBC World Service before becoming one of the main anchors for "BBC News 24". Over the years, Louise has guest presented "The One Show", interviewing stars like Will Smith, Joan Collins, and Meat Loaf, as well as presenting BBC series such as "Real Rescues", "Missing Live", and "Crime and Punishment".

Beyond journalism, Louise has a deep passion for endurance sports. She took up triathlons after a BBC Breakfast Christmas challenge, qualifying for the GB Age-Group Team to race in Chicago in 2015. She has since competed in five World and European Championships, and even tackled the world’s toughest triathlons, including Norseman in 2019. In 2020, Louise took part in a 100-mile trek across the Namibian desert for Sport Relief’s "The Heat is On" campaign, raising awareness for mental health.

Louise has written two successful non-fiction books, "Fearless: Adventures with Extraordinary Women" and "Dare to Tri", sharing her incredible sporting journey. Her third book and first fiction novel, "Isolation Island", is set to release in September 2024.

A popular choice as a host, facilitator, and interviewer, Louise continues to be a household name, appearing in the 2021 series of "I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" and showcasing her endurance and adaptability in everything she does.
