Louise Cooper is a regular and popular media personality within the financial sector, using her comprehensive knowledge and experience to deliver breaking news.

A Chartered Financial Analyst, Louise passionately brings to life the key stories breaking in the financial sector, dissecting the issue into easily digestible soundbites for her wider audience.

Louise, at the age of 12, saw the first female member of the London Stock Exchange being interviewed on television which inspired her to, when 18, leave for London to study for a Business and Finance degree at Cass.

As luck would have it, Louise graduated in the deep recession of 1992 but got her first job at Goldman Sachs as an Equities Research Salesperson selling UK & European shares to fund managers.

In 2000, Louise joined the media, firstly at The Money Channel, before moving to the BBC World Service Radio in the business unit.

After a decade spent on radio, Louise is now seen on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5, writes in the nationals, has a regular The Spectator column, presents BBC Radio 5 Live’s Wake Up To Money and BBC Radio 4’s Money Box.
