Joanna Gosling

Joanna is a very experienced broadcaster, with over two decades worth of experience working in radio and television under her belt. Previously, she has worked for Sky and ITN and is now one of the best-known faces on BBC news, as the main mid-morning anchor on the News Channel.

During her time reporting for the BBC, Joanna has covered countless breaking news stories. Since reporting on the death of Princess Diana, Joanna has stayed on the front line of current affairs, anchoring both studio and in-the-field coverage. She has broadcast the results of several general elections, reported on the 9/11 attacks, the Brexit referendum and the royal wedding of Prince William and the Kate Middleton.

Joanna successfully juggles two careers, as she is also a bestselling author. Her first book ‘Simply Wonderwoman’, a survival guide for women with too much to do, was in the Amazon top ten best sellers list in the run up to Christmas 2011. It gave advice on how to make homemaking easier - with tips and tricks on everything from cleaning to DIY and decorating. It was serialised in the Daily Mail.

2013 marked the year Joanna published her second book, Homemade Simple, with tips and tricks on projects for the home.

Joanna can also be credited with being the second host on the Victoria Derbyshire show, which brings the nation exclusive interviews, audience debates and breaking news.
