Amol Rajan is a versatile presenter, known for his work on Radio 4’s Today programme, University Challenge, and the acclaimed Amol Rajan Interviews series.

At 29, Amol became the youngest Editor of a British broadsheet and the first from an ethnic minority in over a century when he was appointed by The Independent. His career began on The Wright Stuff before he joined The Independent in 2007, where he held various roles, including Editor as the paper transitioned to a digital format.

In 2016, Amol joined the BBC as its first Media Editor, leading global journalism on media and technology. He has also presented on Radio 2, Radio 4’s Media Show, and BBC One’s The One Show, among others. His television credits include The Imperial Inversion of Cricket, Archive on 4: Rivers of Blood, and The Decline of the West, alongside appearances on Question Time, Masterchef, and Celebrity Mastermind.

In 2021, Amol presented a documentary and podcast on Britain’s Royal Family and continued his interview series, Amol Rajan Interviews. His books include "Twirlymen: The Unlikely History of Cricket’s Greatest Spin Bowlers" and "Rethink", which explores improving life post-pandemic based on his hit podcast.
