James Haskell

Former Rugby Player, Health And Fitness Author, DJ, and Public Speaker James Haskell helps audiences deal with pressure, set goals and get the best from yourself and your team.

James Haskell is one of the best-known rugby players and sportspeople in the UK. Having played 77 times for England, as well as playing around the world and for the British and Irish Lions, James is known as much for his ability on the field as his personality off it.

Having retired from professional sport in 2019, James has since embarked on a career as a podcaster, presenter, and professional DJ. Alongside this, he spends a large amount of his time speaking on a number of topics from after-dinner events to motivation and leadership seminars. He is also extremely comfortable hosting and being an auctioneer for any event.

James has transcended his rugby roots and is now big in the world of podcasting, hosting The Good, The Bad and The Rugby, which averages around 150K listeners per weekly episode and is one of the biggest sports podcasts in the world. He also has Backrow Radio - his monthly house music show - and his latest venture Amuse Douche, which follows his journey to become a stand-up comedian.

James is a Top 10 Sunday Times bestselling author for his smash-hit autobiography, What A Flanker. His 2021 follow- up, Ruck Me, has also become a huge success. 2023 sees the launch of his new book Approach With(out) Caution - a guide to navigating the modern world. Revolutionary and revealing, it sees James moving firmly into the ‘personal growth’ space, taking the lessons he’s learned both on and off the pitch. In it, James reveals his five-pillar plan to take control of your life and conquer your fears and by the end of the book, readers will have all they need to approach any challenge, big or small, with confidence – not caution.

James offers a thought-provoking keynote based on themes of resilience, self-management and positive mindsets and can demonstrate to businesses the value of wellbeing in the workforce. The talk will ultimately leave your audience with a different viewpoint on dealing with change, whilst highlighting the importance of their mental well-being in and out of the workplace environment.

As a seasoned after dinner speaker, no subject is off limits and James promises to leave your audience in fits of giggles. James is a multifaceted talent, who will captivate you with his quick wit and sharp sense of humour.
