Debra Searle | 20 February 2020

Debra Searle participated in the Atlantic Rowing Challenge in 2002 with her former husband, who was rescued at sea due to a case of severe anxiety. However, Debra continued the race, spending 111 days alone at sea before completing the race and arriving in Barbados.

Debra showed great determination and mental strength in order to continue the race alone, her story is inspirational and she is an experienced after dinner and motivational speaker.

Here we see Debra in front of an audience talking about her story, how she overcomes fear and paralysis, and how she manages to stay ‘seriously’ motivated.
