Will.i.am

Nine-time Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, producer, rapper, entrepreneur, philanthropist and AI innovator and futurist, Will.i.Am is a household name.

Frontman of the multi-platinum award-winning group The Black Eyed Peas, Will.i.Am has worked with the likes of Michael Jackson, Kanye West and Lady Gaga, amongst others. He’s founded his own record label, signing LMFAO and Kelis and has become a returning judge on The Voice. He’s also appeared in several films and television shows, including Wolverine, Madagascar 2, Rio and The Cleveland Show.

Beyond his impeccable music career, Will.i.Am is at the forefront of AI, being a founder and investor of evolving technologies, including the FYI Web 3.0 creativity and productivity tool.

Will.i.Am was appointed Director of Creative Innovation for Intel in January 2011. In this unique role, he collaborates with Intel scientist, programmers and marketing team members on a company-wide basis regarding content, technology and hardware strategies.

His early work as a Futurist and market opportunity spotter was with Beats Electronics. As a founding equity stakeholder in the company, Will.i.Am was instrumental in helping to transform Beats By Dre into a global consumer electronics brand. Beats Electronics was purchased by Apple in 2014 for $3 billion.

Will.i.Am has helped create several implementations of artificial intelligence. He’s the first artist to stream a song from the surface of Mars, the CEO of AI tech platform and app FYI.AI and host of the first radio show with an AI co-host.

He’s also actively involved in a number of philanthropic causes, including a number of organizations supporting science, technology, engineering and math. In 2011, he partnered with inventor and FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) founder Dean Kamen and ABC on a one-hour special, i.am FIRST: Science is Rock and Roll. His i.am angel foundation, founded in 2009, is focused on its mission to do its part and make a difference by transforming lives through education, opportunity and inspiration.
