Zoë Aston is a psychotherapist, author and mum of two making mental health conversations more accessible to everyone through her books, therapy practice, and corporate wellbeing initiatives.
Zoë is passionate about making conversations around mental health more accessible and acceptable. In 2021, she launched Your Mental Health Workout, a practical approach to mental and emotional wellbeing, followed by a book of the same name.
Her second book, Building Bonds – Why We Choose the People We Choose (and How to Change It If We Want To), was published in 2025. This book explores the foundations of healthy relationships, from self and family to friendships, romance, workplace dynamics, and online connections.
Zoë’s personal journey is what led her into recovery from eating disorders, self-harm, and addiction and then inspired her to retrain as a therapist. At 26, she returned to university to complete a master’s degree in psychology. Over the next eight years, she specialised in addiction, eating disorders, and trauma reduction, working at leading treatment centres including The Priory and on Harley Street. In 2019, she decide to go solo and built a successful career in speaking, social media, and clinical practice.
She has since partnered with global brands and corporate clients such as Lululemon, Trainline, Barry’s Bootcamp, Reebok, Headspace, JP Morgan, and Microsoft. She's led wellbeing sessions for private equity firms like Permira, along with being the face of Iceland’s Let it Out campaign during the pandemic and was also a founding member of the Coach community at co-working space Until.
Zoë’s engaging talks and interactive workshops deliver real impact—enhancing personal wellbeing, improving workplace satisfaction, and supporting talent retention. Her bespoke sessions are tailored to each client, offering practical, accessible insights into mental health. She encourages audiences to prioritise their minds, promote balance, and create inclusive, healthy environments for individuals and communities alike.
