Zoe Aston

Zoë Aston, a psychotherapist and author, created Your Mental Health Workout and works with global brands to make mental health care accessible and acceptable.

Zoë Aston is a psychotherapist, mental health consultant, and author. She created Your Mental Health Workout – a free, online 5-week plan to support a happier, healthier mind. Her first book, also titled Your Mental Health Workout, was published in 2021.

Zoë's own journey to mental health recovery inspired her to train as a therapist. She returned to university at 26 to earn her master’s degree in psychology. For the next eight years, Zoë specialised in addiction, eating disorders, and trauma reduction, working in renowned treatment centres such as The Priory and on Harley Street. In 2019, she embarked on her mission to make mental health care as accessible and accepted as physical health care. Her blend of personal and professional experience makes her a credible advocate for therapy and wellness.

Today, Zoë collaborates with global wellness brands like Lululemon, Barry’s, and Harrods, offering support and education on mental health and emotional wellbeing. She provides engaging talks, dynamic group sessions, and wellbeing workshops for private equity firms such as Permira. During the pandemic, she partnered with Microsoft Windows and Inspired by Iceland to promote psychological health. Her consultancy work helps brands, teams, businesses, and gyms make mental health care available and acceptable to all.

Zoë's sessions deliver a range of benefits, from improved personal wellbeing for attendees to enhanced employee satisfaction and talent retention. Tailored to the specific brand or topic, her interactive and dynamic presentations offer clear, accessible insights into mental health. Zoë challenges everyone to consider the importance of looking after our minds, promoting equality and balance for individuals and the community.
