‘One of the most inspirational leaders of his generation’, Richard Gerver is an award-winning speaker, bestselling author and world-renowned thinker.

Working closely with education guru and TED sensation Sir Ken Robinson, Richard’s consultancy work and keynote speeches are popular, persuasive and unique.

His book Change made it to the top of the WH Smith Business Books chart, and his best-seller, Creating Tomorrow's Schools Today, has become a seminal text in the development of education vision around the world.

Richard always wanted to be able to make a difference to kids' lives, to empower them and to ensure every one of them realised that they had a fulfilled future, so he turned his mind to various ways of achieving this goal.

Richard began his career in education, most notably as headmaster of the failing Grange Primary School. In just two years, he famously transformed the school into one of the most acclaimed learning environments in the world. He was celebrated by UNESCO and the UK Government for its incredible turnaround.

His work transcends education, and Richard was hired by Tony Blair's government as a policy consultant. He now impacts international organisations with his innovative approach, including UNESCO, The British Council, Skanska, The Welsh Government and The National Federation of Enterprise Agencies.

As the Director of Ninja Kids and IC-ED, Richard’s dynamic and though-provoking vision of what leadership should be is put into daily practice!

Richard has since transitioned to the global stage where he uses his trademark humour and natural style to deliver passionate, provocative and authentic speeches at live and virtual events. He draws upon the first-hand experiences and unique insights garnered from frontline education to explore the links between great leadership, human potential, change and innovation.

Richard expounds his knowledge and ideas in a variety of publications including The Guardian and The Financial Times, and on TV and Radio programmes across the globe.

The three core principles underpinning Richard's philosophy are communication, empowerment and impact. He argues that great leadership is first and foremost about serving the needs of the people who work for you. His mantra: systems and structures change nothing; people do.

Most importantly, Richard is always humbled to be able to share his lifelong commitment to living, learning and laughing.
