Ember String Trio

Ember are a new-age, contemporary string trio consisting of virtuoso violinist Elliot Lyte and cellists Tom Huet and Chris Gascoine. Together they perform their own unique arrangements of contemporary pop songs and have performed all over the world including countries such as India, Singapore, Dubai, Monaco, Switzerland, Russia, France, Belgium and USA.

Ember are a new-age, contemporary string trio consisting of virtuoso violinist Elliot Lyte and cellists Tom Huet and Chris Gascoine. After a chance meeting following a string session at Abbey Road for Pink Floyd, the trio began arranging and uploading contemporary pop interpretations on Youtube in 2016. Within a year the trio amassed well over 20 million views across all social media. Chris, who has a Masters from Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Elliot and Tom, who have degrees from Trinity Laban Conservatoire, have performed all over the world including countries such as India, Singapore, Dubai, Monaco, Switzerland, Russia, France, Belgium and USA.

The trio have performed at some of the most prestigious venues in the UK including the Barbican, Saatchi Gallery, National Gallery, Westminster Abbey and The Tower of London.

Ember Trio combine a unique blend of classical and contemporary production elements which have elevated them to become Europe’s most successful classical crossover string trio.
