Sebastian Faulks and Alex Bellos Grace the Queen's Park Literary Festival

Festival season continues – and this week the UK’s literati head to North West London for the first ever Queen’s Park Literary Festival. Top authors, including Sebastian Faulks and Alex Bellos, take their place in trendy gastro-pubs and on leafy park benches, for conversation, food, drink and chat!

With events for book lovers, social butterflies and families, the festival promises a weekend of sunshine, fun and chat with writing greats and celebrities such as Alex Bellos, kids TV presenter Pui Fan Lee, and TV sport guru Mihir Bose.

Novelist Sebastian Faulks, the team behind ‘Peep Show’ and musician Edwyn Collins will join other writers and celebrities, either local or with strong local connections.

‘Peep Show’ actor Robert Webb, co-writer Sam Bain and producer Robert Popper will also host an event, with Collins to hold a workshop with his biographer and wife Grace Maxwell.

Actor, producer and novelist Mark Gatiss will launch the event, presenting a Friday-night screening of ‘The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes’ at the Lexi Cinema.
