Lettuce Celebrate: Top Food & Wine Experts we Cheers to

25 March 2019

If you’ve worked with us before (or follow our Instagram  account), you’d know that all of us here at Speakers Corner are big foodies. We love food, and good food! And what goes well with food? Wine. It’s the perfect pair!

So just like food and wine complement each other, here are some connoisseurs  who would perfectly complement your event. Regardless if it’s for clients, corporate, parties, conferences, perhaps a c-suite meeting, there is an option for all events. Specialising in everything from live demos, to tantalising keynotes, awards hosts and after dinner speakers – we have really spoiled you for choice.

Without further ado, enjoy reading through this list of speakers who will without a doubt leave a good taste with attendees.

LIVE DEMOS

Tom Surgery

Tom is an office favourite after treating all of us here to a wine demonstration (not that he could go wrong with this). A confident and energetic wine expert and presenter, he entertained us with his vast knowledge combined with a wonderful sense of humour. Providing the wine himself, he is a wonderful edition to a corporate event. Tom presents at wine masterclasses and pairing events across the country, is a director at a luxury English Sparkling Wine business and is part of Oz Clarke, Olly Smith and Tim Atkin Three Wine Men tour.

Gino D’Acampo

Born into a poor Neapolitan family, Gino inherited his grandfather's love of cooking and entered the Luigi de Medici Catering College at the age of fifteen. He continued to develop his skills through the kitchens of restaurants in Europe, including Perignon in Nice and a spell as Head Chef at Sylvester Stallone's Mambo King in Marbella at 19 before coming to England the following year. No stranger to the screen, Gino has appeared on many TV programs including Ready Steady Cook and Too Many Cooks. Gino's food and recipes are accessible and fresh, stressing simplicity with quality, and he regularly presents live demonstrations – a hit to many events!

James Tanner

If you have ever enjoyed a delicious meal at the Barbican Kitchen in Plymouth, or even The Kentish Hare in Bidborough, then you would have entered into the kitchen of James Tanner. Famously known for being on BBC1’s Ready Steady Cook, James has also appeared in Sep up to the Plate, the Saturday Kitchen and regularly appeared on Lorraine on ITV1. Passionate about using local, seasonable and sustainable produce, he will treat attendees to a live demonstration. There won’t be an unhappy tastebud in the room!

Peter Gordon

With his fingers in many pies, Peter is a multi-award winning chef and co-owner of The Providores and Tapa Room in London, has a restaurant in a five star hotel in New Zealand, consultant to award winning restaurants in Istanbul, M&S and GBK, and is an author of several books. Teaching at a number of celebrated cookery schools and getting involved in many cookery demonstrations, there isn’t a lot that he can’t do. A fine choice to entertain any audience!
