BBC's new series of Autumnwatch starts

Bill Oddie , Kate Humble and Simon King witness the beauty and drama of UK wildlife. Autumn brings the red deer rut, mass bird migrations and beautiful woodland colours. 

The presenters are interested in seeing what wildlife the British public have been filming around the UK. They will be showing the best animal action from grey seal pups to the dramatic red deer rut.

Ten geese take off on an 8,000km migration from Ireland to Arctic Canada and back. Follow their incredible journey. Each year thousands of grey seals congregate on remote island beaches to pup. Follow their story.
