Steve Coogan is a famous stand-up comedian  and actor, he is an accomplished awards host  and after dinner entertainer suitable for various corporate events.

Steve has wanted to be on the stage from a young age and attended the Polytechnic School of Theatre in Manchester. After being seen by a scout he appeared on ‘First Exposure’, which was then followed by other appearances at ‘The Princes Gala Trust’ and he was on popular shows ‘Word in your Ear’ and ‘Up-Front’ to name a few.

In 1992 Steve won the prestigious Perrier Award for his show at the Edinburgh Festival, which he collaborated with John Thomson. He then starred alongside John on the ‘The Dead Good Show’ and he played a character by the name of Paul Calf as well as his sister Pauline who he played in drag. His character Paul Calf was a hit and Steve wrote and starred in ‘The Paul Calf Video Diaries’, which was a huge success and he won a BAFTA for his performance in Pauline Calf’s video diary.

Steve is well known for the character Alan Partridge, which he created on the Radio 4 show ‘On the Hour’ alongside Armando Ianucci and Chris Morris. He eventually presented his own television show titles ‘Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge’, after which came the popular series ‘I’m Alan Partridge’. ‘I’m Alan Partridge’ was a huge success and gained five BAFTA nominations and more recently the show has returned in two special episodes aired on Sky Atlantic and in 2013 the film ‘Alan Patridge: Alpha Papa’ went released in cinemas all over the UK and was received great reviews.

Coogan's most acclaimed work to date is the drama-comedy Philomena which he co-wrote, produced, and starred in with Judi Dench.

In addition to his role as Alan Partridge, Alan has appeared in other popular TV shows and movies including ‘Around the World in 80 days’, ‘Night at the Museum’, ‘Saturday Zoo’ and popular US show ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ to name only a few.

Steve is also a much loved comedian and has had sell-out tours in the UK with his show ‘The Man Who Thinks He’s It’, this show received a South Bank Show Award and also broke box office records for a comedy show in London’s West End.
