Kevin Dutton

Kevin Dutton has a Ph.D in Psychology, and is a research psychologist at the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford. Writing and researching on persuasion, social influence, and the psychopathic personality. Dr. Kevin is well-placed to entertain after-dinner audiences with the art of persuasion.

Dr Kevin Dutton is a psychologist, author and highly acclaimed speaker in the field of elite cognition and high performance.

Having written a number of bestselling books on his particular areas of expertise within the field of psychology, Kevin specialises in the science of persuasion, social influence and psychopathic personality characteristics in high pressure situations.

Together with former SAS sergeant and bestselling author, Andy McNab, Kevin has developed the concept of the "Good Psychopath", to describe those individuals who are able to harness their inner ruthlessness and fearlessness to focus for the good of society, rather than to its detriment.

His critically acclaimed book, Black and White Thinking (2020) explores the idea that we all feel a need to divide the world up into little black and white squares of meaning which allow us to make sense of the world around us, but also can lead to division or discrimination.

Kevin is also co-founder of Oxford Elite Performance (OEP) which equips individuals with the psychological know-how to not just perform under pressure, but to thrive.
