A former world champion, Johnny is also an Ambassador for the MIND charity. His unique wit and charm, together with a wealth of enthralling anecdotes to tell, makes Johnny a popular after-dinner speaker.

Johnny is best known for his appearances on Sky Sports' boxing coverage as live broadcast anchor and presenter of the smash hit “The Gloves Are Off” documentaries which precede the biggest fights on Sky. Johnny’s depth of knowledge and experience allied with his northern charm gives him unique access to the biggest stars in world boxing.
