Maggie Philbin OBE is a much-loved television and radio presenter, with a host of credits to her name including the likes of Multicolour Swap Shop and Tomorrow's World. She is co-founder and CEO of TeenTech which helps encourage young people into STEM careers, and is President of the Institute of Engineering Designers.

No one can beat the professionalism and style that Maggie brings into the corporate arena, and as such she is in great demand as a conference facilitator and awards host.

Awarded an OBE in 2017 for her services to science, technology and creative industries, Maggie has also been named the Most Influential Woman in UKIT by Computer Weekly Magazine in 2016 and TeenTech named her 2016 Digital Leader.

Maggie's broadcasting career started with a four-year stint co-presenting BBC's legendary Saturday morning children's show Multicoloured Swap Shop.

A major turning point in her career came with her subsequent move to the BBC's flagship science and technology programme Tomorrow's World where she stayed for eight years. Since then, she has presented a raft of television and radio programmes.

Maggie's television career encompasses Hospital Watch, Bodymatters Roadshow, QED, and BBC2's women's documentary series The Doll's House. She has worked as a medical and consumer reporter for This Morning on ITV and presented film reports for BBC's current affairs programme 4x4, studio pieces for BBC One's The One Show, as well as a series of 20 programmes called Heartland for Channel Health. She has also presented 40 editions of the science programme Wideworld for Channel 5. Maggie was a reporter on BBC1’s Bang Goes the Theory.

If one theme runs through Maggie's career, it's a talent for handling “live” shows. Whether it's broadcasting live from HMS Westminster on the Thames for the BBC's prestigious millennium programme 2000 Today, juggling topical calls on her Saturday morning phone-in or grilling company directors on conferences. This has made her popular in the corporate sector where her diverse range of broadcasting skills is a valuable asset for conferences, business presentations and corporate television.

Drawing on her unique experience with some of the greatest innovators and inventors of all time, Maggie talks with great humour, authority and style about the key ingredients of innovation and forward thinking in business. She is well known for her involvement in the promotion of women in business, science and technology. Able to talk about workplace diversity, the evolution of technology, digital business or facilitate a conference, Maggie is a versatile and talented speaker.
